The second annual Belladonna Short Film Festival was held at the new Art Gallery in the Philp Carter Family Auditorium between July 20 and 22 in 2003. A criteria for entry was introduced and a selection committee established. A design competition held to find a design student to create the poster provided us with the work of Samantha Murray who's design was used for the following year as well. The event was part of the Christchurch Arts Festival in 2003 and was a huge success, heralding full houses each night.
